1. A lightweight backpack for school and travel
- Affordable, lightweight, including pockets for your tablet, laptop, and a handy strap on the back to slip onto your carry on luggage! Click the image below to find it on Amazon Canada:
2. A sunrise alarm clock to make 8:30 classes a little bit easier
- This clock turns on before your alarm, slowly increasing the brightness of your room to mimic sunrise. - This is especially useful for nursing or medical students who may be waking up before the sun rises for clinical placements. Click the image below to find it on Amazon Canada:
3. The best laptop riser to get that perfect angle for Zoom/ MS Teams classes
- I used this laptop riser throughout the pandemic, and found it especially useful for my online medical school interviews. It is adjustable in so many areas, making it easy to find the right set up for you! - Comes in a variety of colours such as black, blue, silver, and my favourite rose gold! 4. Or, some portable laptop riser balls for days on campus
- I purchased these when I was having wrist pain while typing in class, they adjusted the typing angle and helped my pain significantly! - They also help to keep your laptop cool during long days at the library - especially useful for users of laptops with loud fans. 5. Myfavourite pen of ALL TIME
- I experienced significant hand pain in high school and university, making essay based exams difficult! The Dr. Grip pens by Pilot really helped that. They are a gorgeous pen that have refills available, come in a variety of colours, and just feel great in the hand. Click the image below to find it on Amazon Canada:
6. The best chisel-tip whiteboard markers for studying
- I used to always use Expo markers for my late night study sessions at the whiteboards in the uni library, but the chisel tip gets worn down SO easily. - If you want CRISP lines on your whiteboard, make sure to check out the V Board Masters markers from Pilot -> they are even refillable! 7. & 8. Save your back during study sessions with thismemory foam seat cushion, and an amazing foot rest to match
- When my medical school moved back online earlier this term, I was worried about having to stay seated for hours in the day. Luckily, the seat cushion saved my lower back and makes my office chair even more comfortable than it already was! Click the images below to find it on Amazon Canada:
